Rules

Greetings for the β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆth time,

Well then, thank you for reading this, I'll try to make this as simple as possible.

So, as I said on the welcome page, there are going to be a few ground rules when writing or creating EoTB content.
Over time, more will be added if needed. All those who do not adhere to these rules will be removed from the site.

Rule No.1.
No being an ass generally. Be respectful to your peers, we are all in the same boat here after all.
Do not put other's work down, even if it might be a bit naff you can still be nice and instead of being rude, just try give a few tips on how the writer could improve.
It is the same concept in reverse also, if you have written something and someone gives you criticism, just ignore that person instead of retaliating. Because if you also become involved, there is a chance me or one of the other administrators remove you both. Just ask yourself, is it really worth your time about some rando on a screen who you (most likely) will never see again?

Rule No.2.
DO NOT change the original lore. You will know it's original if it is created by me, I will comment on all post made by me to show this also.
If there is something you think would be good to change, just private message me or any other administrator, and we will deal with it.
If someone has been found to have change the underlying lore unknowingly, they may be let off with a warning, and have the post deleted.
BUT, if you knowingly do so (A.K.A do it numerous times etc), you will be removed from membership of this site. After that you can go reflect on life, and if you didn't read the main lore and so didn't know, I'm sorry but one warning is enough, and you would have been told to read the base lore during said warning, so that's your issue to deal with.

Rule No.3.
If you are to create anything related to my database or the general universe of EoTB outside of this database, you MUST make sure to credit me and the creator of the post used by yourself. If you don't I could assume that you were trying to take credit for other people's ideas and my own database, even if you were not. It's more of a safety precaution. Even if the credit is just a simple @TheAsmodient, or my user on the platform. Even the database link would suffice for me. As for others, you have to ask the specific post creator themselves.

Rule(?) No.4.
If writing an article about something that would be of extreme significance within the lore of the EoTB, I would prefer if you let me know about it first, simply a short message with an overview would work. This is not something that needs to be adhered to, just a preference.

Notice
This Site is still in creation, and so will not be entirely completed yet, be patient with me and other future administrators and staff, building a site is not an easy task, especially for a single person.

Remember, All is not as it seems.
